All Lainton ground gas installations are subject to a structured inspection and validation programme throughout the project lifecycle.
Pre-installation: Site conditions, substrate preparation and membrane specification are verified against the approved design before works commence. Any discrepancies are flagged to the principal contractor and design team before installation proceeds.
During installation: Our NVQ Level 2 qualified operatives carry out continuous quality checks on membrane laps, penetrations and service entries. A site supervisor is present throughout to document progress and ensure full compliance with CIRIA 665 and BS8485:2015.
Post-installation: On completion, all installations are subjected to a thorough visual inspection and, where specified, smoke or pressure testing to verify the integrity of the gas barrier. Photographic records are provided as standard and formal validation certificates issued on request, suitable for submission to building control.
